Yes, the zigane legato is in Chamber strings. They can be layered with Orchestral. For example, one could layer Orchestral fast legato with Chamber zigane and obtain an extremely rapid legato effect. Also as I mentioned using some detached articulations with legato is a way of speeding up legato.

Perhaps you have already tried this, but if not: If you own VI Pro 2, you can create all kinds of different portamentos with all sorts of different speeds by changing the times of the different portions of each sample (the first VI Pro only allowed you to change the speed of the entire sample).

Hi Herb, Thanks for the reply,
Yes I did install the updates and tried the new patches, I think what am looking might not be possible, its more the playing style :) might try to add some pitch bend controller to portamento patches,
I think what am looking for is kinda potamento between sevral notes, in other words,
VSL Portamento is one shot slide betwenn two notes, a starting note and a destination note,
I think its possible for violins player to start a portamento from a starting note, then the slide another and then another without initiating a new portamento ,
so basically the notes are different during a prtamento
Sorry am trying my best to explain what am looking for,
Herb, can you listen to the Strings mp3 in my personal files?
