    Hi all, thanks for your help! I have been running VE Pro 5 error-free for a while. Today, I noticed that while the VE Pro server shows that an instance is connected to the VE Pro insert in Pro Tools,the insert says "Not Connected." Further, the instance actually IS connected somehow, because it works normally when I trigger it with my midi keyboard. When I click on "Connect" or "Preferences" on the Pro Tools' VE Pro insert, the button stays depressed and the interface menu freezes. BUT, if I remove the insert and load it again, the interface appears normal again.

    I've tried restarting PT, downloading the latest VE Pro build (5.0.10738), loading an older project that used to work, and looking all over this forum... If anyone knows the solution to this problem, I'd greatly appreciate your help!
