I have two questions about opening older projects (from VEP and MIR) into VEP5/MIR Pro:

Hi Marko,
I feel with you. :-/ Both of your feature wishes were high up on my own list, too.
Thing is that "legacy" Vienna MIR and MIR Pro look similar on the surface, but rely on a quite different internal architecture. This not only includes the actual file format, but the represenation of audio-relevant paramters, too. So converting data from MIR to MIR Pro would pose a serious programming task.
I'm sorry to say that VSL's software engineers had other priorities. We have no other options for migrating data than saving individual instruments as presets and rebuilding Projects. - The good news is that legacy Vienna MIR and MIR Pro will run happily side-by-side on the same computer (even simultaneously, as long as RAM, CPU and ASIO drivers allow for); they can even share the same RoomPack data.
Kind regards,
