  • Missing notes?

F#7 and G#7 seem to be missing from the orchestral violins 10-VI-14_sus_vib patch. All the notes surrounding them up to Bb7 are there.

  •  The notes are fine. Are you sure you don't have an erroneous keyswitch set here?

  • Odd they're not there in my current project. But them some weird stuff is happening to this project as it gets bigger. DG your a wise man, even if my RAM is only just over 50% is their a limit on the number of VIs VE PRO likes working with before it starts acting weird. I've got 76 in this project. I'm building up the performance sectioon by section as I go and purging each section as I complete it's performance. But now further down the line early instruments are no longer reacting in the same way they did. They dont sound with some some articulationin the same way when I first perfected their performance.

It's puzzling. And difficult to pin down.

  •  I've had quite a few issues with the purge feature.  It seems to have issues with round robin samples.  To get around the issue, I start the sequence from the beginning of the piece and then purge.  Sort of an irritating work around.

  • Dave, is it possible that you are pushing the limits of your processor and/or streaming limits from your hard drives?

On my own system, an i7 930, 32 tracks (using many samples for each instrument) starts to get close to that processor's limits (using MIR SE).  IIRC, your processor has roughly double the processing power as mine.  It might be worth checking.

As for the missing notes, as DG said, that is generally a keyswitch placement issue - something very easy to accidently do.
