    i have now the same Problem with the newest Versions on everything.

    VEPro, Logic x, Mavericks

    It isn´t´chrashing but freecing for some seconds every now and than.

    Hi Manu – in my case the solution was the one described in the thread: the freezing was being caused by the presence of a disc in the CD/DVD drive. Once I removed the disc, the problem went away – as simple as that. 

    It sounds like you have exactly the same problem. I hope that solves it. 

    What the technical reason is, I have no idea, and I've never had an explanation from anyone at VSL, nor have I heard of a bug fix for the problem.
