    Is there any way (besides inserting another instance) of using more than 16 midi channels in Sonar X1?  Thanks!

     Yes, if you have VE Pro5.

    Yes I have VE Pro5 and have configured the preferences for 24 midi channels, re-start the server, etc.  Even deleted from sonar and re-inserted post re-starting the server.  Still only 16 channels show up in Sonar....

     You use the Even Input VSTi to send additional channels to an instance of VE Pro
