    I have a Macbook as the host computer running Logic Studio and 1 slave PC computer running Vienna Ensemble through ethernet. I'm looking at a UAD2-SOLO PCI-E card that would go into my PC. Can I put one in and use it in Vienna Ensemble Pro and will it just act like a VST or AU plugin, adding processing/effects and, like all plugins, sending the output back to my host computer? Thanks.

     Yes,  the UAD plug in's are just standard VST plug in's, so can be inserted into the VE Pro mixer like any other VST effect.

    The only snag is, that at the moment, the UAD plug in's are 32-bit, so you will need to run Jbridge.  Unless you use the 32-bit version of VE Pro, but that's going to be a memory issue problem, so best to go for Jbridge, until UAD are totally 64-bit ( a few months time, rumour has it).
