Ha, wait a moment - I've just seen that I'm pointing to an older version of Vienna Imperial in VE Pro - I'll give it another try, maybe I can reproduce the problem.

Confirmed - I see the same things happening like you do as soon as I use the latest version of Vienna Imperial.

No problem Dietz and thanks :).  I figured the video would help the most since I can show all versions of everything, and the failure happening in real time :).  I will check back in a bit for a status update :).

It looks like a strange incompatibilty issue between the older version of Vienna Imperial (the one which was used for creating the Schubertsaal Venue Preset you were using in your video) and the most recent version.

Other presets seem to be unaffected - I just loaded the Teldex-based Vienna Imperial Venue Presets, and they load without a hitch. Does this work on your system, too?

Same for me Dietz.  It works fine in the newer room packs for me too.  I just stopped there as the first two I picked crashed so I just figured it was time to report haha :).

UPDATE : I've revised the affected Venu Presets - the updated ZIP (containing the whole collection) will be online later today. I'll let you know.

Apart from that, our software engineers are already looking for the reason why a missing virtual instrument plugin can crash another one that gets loaded afterwards. Over and all, you ran into a rare combination of variables that went unnoticed before. Thanks for reporting, and sorry for the inconvenience!

Very much appreciated as always Dietz :).  I will look for the download tonight.  The reason why I noticed, is because for me Vienna Imperial is the most used VST in my entire arsenal of instruments :).

The new ZIP is online already - but to add to the confusion it is labelled "V1.2" now *sigh* .... the PDF is still labelled 1.1 (just a surface blemish).
