    Hi I use VEP 5 with PT10HD on a 10.7.3 8 core mac with 16GB Ram , i have tried a few different combos of thread usage but still experiencing drop outs, i don't remember having this problem 4 months ago when i was on PT8HD , but i need the programs in harmony (like everyone else) At present i have PT10HD set to 5 cores and VEP5 set to 7 cores , before i had PT10HD to 3 cores and VEP set to 4 , leaving 1 core for os (though I'm not sure of protocol there) The problem with the drop outs happens with both configurations , anyone managed to overcome this challenge ?

    could it be the auto save function in PT is muting the VEP5 output

    VE Pro 5 doesn't interrupt processing while saving, it only does so when loading. However one of your 3rd party plugins could do this. We have no control over this unfortunately. To avoid the issue altogether you may want to enable the ALL button (Decouple All feature) on one of the VE Pro plugins in the PT project, which prevents saving/loading of data for all VE Pro plugins in PT. You can disable the button again when you want to save intentionally.
