  • Using VSL in Main Studio and Mobile Unit

    Hello Forum,

I am trying to set up my MacBook Pro as a mobile studio and one that mirrors my main studio set up. I currently have all of the VSL instruments on an external HD.

Can I and how do I install the VI and VE software onto my laptop and access the samples on my external HD so I can take projects with me on the road?

    Thanks,

    Chumley

    Hello Chumley,

On your MB PRO, please make sure that you are using the latest eLCC and the latest VSL software:

Also, please connect your ViennaKey with your licenses.

As you have your sample content available on the portable drive, simply connect it to your new computer. Then open the Directory Manager and drag the sample content folders onto it. Here is a video on how to use the Directory Manager:

=> Now you can use your VI Collections on both computers. Simply connect your ViennaKey with the licenses and you´re good to go.

    Best,

    Paul
