    I am using the vienna ensemble (64) server in DP7.24, and I am triing to assign more than 16 midi channels. I do go in the preferences and tell vienna to operate with 8 X 16 midi channels for each instance. I can see it in vienna and assign it... This part works, my only problem is that DP7.24 doesn't give me more then 16 channels to assign to vienna? Anyone has a solution for me?

    You're running into the AU limit, I'm afraid. There is currently no solution for you, other than to use more instances.

    Actually, you can use the Event Input plugin to add more MIDI ports, but keep in mind that in DP it's not possible to offline bounce Event Input tracks (it's possible to first freeze before bouncing however). So you can either use the Event Input plugin or simply use multiple VE Pro instances of course. When using the Audio/Event Input plugins, make sure that Pre-Gen mode is disabled for all plugins in DP's preferences or things will not function as intended.

    Tried this option... even in event input setup the DP and vienna don't connect... Still limited to 16 channels :(
