  • VE Pro 64bit Logic 64bit Midichannel issues

    Hi,

I´m using logic 9.1.7 64bit and VEPro 64bit-server on my DAW at my studio.

I have an issue on my miditemplate - I´ve inserted the midisetup from the file "VEP Multiport Layer" and routed it to my local VEPro-instance (16ch out). Each channel in my midiinstance (VEP 1 - etc) just play on channel 1 in VEPro (watch the pic - right-click and "show picture" to see the whole).

Anyone who have a clue on what to do? I get it to work on my laptop, but not in my studio DAW...

  • I have a clue that it could be an issue regarding my novation nocturn - software...

  • I'd love an answer to this as well as I had the exact same issue and eventually gave up and moved back to individual VEPRO instances for each 16 channels that I needed. But I'm still running into the infamous one core overload issue with that method which I thought was supposed to be alleviated to a degree.

The only difference is I'm not using VEPRO locally but on a PC slave which I thought could be part of the issue. However, you seem to be having the same problem so I'm at a loss.

VSL documentation on a whole isn't bad in my experience, but when it comes to setting up this stuff (particularly with multiple computers), I find it sorely lacking.

  • I have tried different usb-midicontrollers with the same issue. Any midichannel is playing the first midi from each instance...

Anyone has any solution on this? Could it be that i run 64-bit in Logic?
