  • [SOLVED] MIR and third party software - rewritten, please read again!

WOW, I just started using WIndows 7 -64bit and didn't even realise I had posted a blank page!

My question was...Can I run third party software through MIR?  I use G-Player to play old GIG files (some VSL, Some not).  Will I be able to play them using MIR?

    Please say yes!  :-)

    Thanks,

    Mike

  • Yes please? :-)

(I hope you're not another victim of the "message eating" forum's software bug like William ... :-/ ...)

  •  I had problems posting blank pages,  and my solution was to ensure that Explorer (Win 7 64-bit) had to be in "compatibilty mode"

I'm using Firefox, but it too apparently posted a blank page the first time I posted this question.  Does anyone kno how to fix that in Firefox?

    Thanks,

    M

    Hi Mike,

both legacy Vienna MIR and the recent MIR Pro support third party plugins - in terms of virtual instruments as well as in terms of audio processing plugins.

Please find the details here: -> http://www.vsl.co.at/en/211/497/1687/2002/2003/1691.htm

    HTH,
