Hi
First off, I use a large all-purpose template, which covers all necessary sounds/generes I work with.
Before VE Pro 5/MIR, VE Pro was used as an host for all my different VST instruments, and all my reverb or effect settings was contained within each specific Cubase project, and thus it was easy to make any kind of change to the room/reverb/effect settings, while the sounds/samples stayed the same within VEP.
After VEP5/MIR Pro this has changed. Now I want to use MIR as my main reverb/mixing facility. But I have one major issue with this. As before, VEP5 contains all VST instruments and a ton of samples. But now if I want to change anything, particullary reverb wise, I have to reload the entire VEP5 instance, were as before, these kind of changes was contained and loaded with each Cubase project, while VEP just contained the instrument data.
So if I have one project which is an all out orchestral track, while the next project is an intimate piece containing only a few instruments, a smaller room and different seatings. Or for that matter, two orchestral pieces, but each with different instrument placements. How do I handle these changes without having to reload the entire VEP5 instance(s) - which takes a long time. The only way I can find is through the "Incoming project data behavior" settings. But this reloads everything.
Is there any way to just recall/reload ONLY VEP5/MIR Pro settings (not the VSTi settings) such as volume, instrument placement and such? I would thinks these settings would be alot quicker to recall, opposed to reloading every single VST instrument.
If this isn't possible as of today, would it be at all possible to to include such functionality?
This would make a be a great benefit to working with large templates.
Best regards
