If you are using Logic 9 with a PC slave this might be of interest. You can use the tape delay in logic as a saturation Plugin. In the output window of the sequencer open Delay>Tape Delay >stereo. When the window opens disable the sync button (bright blue) and set the delay to o.o ms. Set the dry slider to o% and the Wet slider to 100%. The Feedback slider seems to work best at less than 30%. The triangle on the bottom left hand corner opens a distortion slider not sure I hear the effect. You can enable and disable to test the effect of this plugin. I had to disable some of the compressors in MIR to avoid extreme clipping especially drums, but other than that drums seem punchier and instruments have better presence. I saw this on a post on the internet and would like to get some feedback from VSL users on whether this is a useable tape saturation plug in.
