    Is there a known problem with the alternation of staccato 1+2 on the string basses? I can hear the different samples triggered with all the other string staccati, but not on the basses.

    The bassi have their keyswitches above their range (starting c6)
    Maybe you use the wrong octav (C5 or C7)

    Yes, the notes were set to be played on the keyswitch dimension start in the alternation menu.
