    Hi, There's probably a really simple explanation for this. I have composed a piece in Sibelius 6 and have export and imported the midi into cubase, then linked vienna software for playback with Cubase. The problem is the piece in cubase is playing back at the default 120bpm but the original is composed in 70bpm and has a load of ritenuto and accelerando's etc that aren't playing back. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

    Sorry to ask the obvious - but have you activated Cubase's Tempo Track?

    I have yeah, it doesn't change anything, and my tempo changes (rit/acc.'s) still dont come into effect

     Or have you mistakenly got "Ignore Mastertrack events on Merge" checked in Preferences?
