    Hello there,

    There's something strange happening with my DP and VE Pro 5 setup.

    I recently made a little "At home" setup. This consists of a (new) quad Mac Pro 10.6.8. DP7.24 and VEP 5 latest build. That's basically it. I have an MBox handling the D to A. and my keyboard is a M-Audio Oxygen 49. Everything else is In-da-box!

    So here's the dealio - 

    I have VEP as a local host (server mode 64bit) and I have DP running VEP with a few event plug ins (the whole 16 MIDI work around thing) (regardless my problem still exists with or with out the event plug ins)

    So I can play instruments fine! When I move my volume fader on my Oxygen Keyboard, DP responds and so does the Kontakt Fader inside VEP. all respond normally. 

    When I record the MIDI, everything records, notes, volume, sustain, mod, pitch bend, etc.

    These ALL get recorded into DP - I can see all the information in the Edit MIDI window!

    THEN, I play it back, and all that plays back are the notes. It doesn't send ANY of the other information!! 

    It's been awhile since I've set up a studio from scratch, with DP and all, so I'm hoping this is some setting like - Send all MIDI information, or something dumb like that, that I may have missed..   

    Any ideas??

    It's strange how the MIDI notes respond in VEP, but nothing else does.. you'd think it's an all or nothing type deal.. and I know it's "working" because DP is recording all the information..

    I posted a thread on the Motunation forum.  I'm not sure if it's a DP thing or a VEP thing.  so i figured i'd try both places :)
