    As long as I've run VE Pro, I've stepped through instruments by clicking on the instrument list in the left pane. The new instrument shows up in the right pane. 

    Somehow I reset something, and now when I click on new instruments, it either reverts to the mixer in the right pane or does not change instruments to the new selection. 

    I've never really understood the pane issue, separating them, unlinking them. I just would like to return to selecting instruments and seeing them.

    I was clicking on audio insert channels, hence defaulting to the mixer page.... I think.
