Hello,
is there any chance that a day VSL team will sell Vienna Convolution of the Vienna Suite separatlly?
I would love to buy this, with serti and forti impulses! [:D]
Thank you for your time!

Thank you Dietz for your rapid answer!
So i will have to buy the full package, no problemo. [:D]
... Or MIR Pro [:D]... I will very soon test the demo... I'm sure it's AMAZING! The only think that make me hesitating is about my
computer... I have an i7-2600k, with 16 GB ddr3 1600 MHZ, system on a Seagate Hybrid Momentus XT 7200 and samples on WD CAVIAR BLACK 1 tb... I have SE and SE+, and complete woodwinds 1 + complete appassionata + complete chamber strings coming from the winter deal...
How much instruments can i expect to load in MIR Pro with this configuration?
An other question will be, does Mir Pro give me the possibility to have a nice, warm, maybe more Hollywood Sound, like Forti and Serti?
I use Magneto ( like you, and it is not an coincidence ) [:D]and some other plug-ins to enhance VSL dry instruments...
Do you think that Mir Pro could do this easily, and even better, with the plug-ins that i already use to enhance and color the VSL sound?
Thank you again for your time,
Vincent
Hi Vincent,
An other question will be, does Mir Pro give me the possibility to have a nice, warm, maybe more Hollywood Sound, like Forti and Serti?
The concept of MIR is very different to conventional IR-based reverbs, so my answer can't be a clear "yes" or "no". There seem to be quite a few MIR Pro-users, though, who are convinced that this application adds _a lot_ to the sound they achieve 😉

BTW - If you plan for using the spectacular EQ Timbral Impulses supplied by Numerical Sound for VS Convolution Reverb, nothing will hinder you from using them inside MIR Pro, too!
I use Magneto ( like you, and it is not an coincidence )The funny thing is that Magneto will happily run inside MIR Pro (even when jBridged to 64 bit). It doesn't seem to be host-locked like most other Cubase/Nuendo-plugins (... the appropriate license must be available on the key, of course).
Kind regards,
Thank you again! [:D]
When i receive my VSL new collections from the winter deal, i will test Mir Pro abusively! Or maybe not now... I just boought the deal to have 2 free extended libraries, and can't afford Mir Pro with VE Pro right now, i need to wait next summer... If i test the trial now, and fall in love with it... It's gonna be so much pain to wait 8 months for it ARGHHH! :[:D][8o|]
I will use Mir Pro with Cubase 6, so, how much instruments can i expect with it? Can you make me an other estimation?
Thank you very much for your time,
Vincent

A few less, or even _quite_ a few less, depending on how CPU-demanding the processing done inside Cubase will be. Sorry, this is a moving target ... 😉
Kind regards,
Dear Dietz, please tell me how to use numerical sound and FORTI inside MIRPro Thank you@Dietz said:

Simply load an instance of VS Convolution Reverb into a track within VE Pro (usually before the red MIR Pro plugin), select the desired TI, and you're ready to roll. :-)
... I don't know if it's necessary to add that I wouldn't use the _reverb_ IRs from SERTI and FORTI in conjunction with MIR, but the _timbral_ IRs (a.k.a. "TI").
Kind regards,
