  • VEP event input question

I am confused. The manual for VEP5 says this... "As soon as an Input Plug-in is assigned to a connected Server Interface Plug-in, a single buffer of latency is added to the output of the Server Interface Plug-in. " Does this mean a buffer is added for each and every event input assigned to a given VEP instance, or just one buffer is added to compensate for the 3 or 4 event inputs feeding into the VEP instance? Thanks for the help folks

  • A single buffer is added the moment you assign an Audio/Event Input plugin to a connected Server Interface plugin. More Input plugins doesn't affect latency, it's either an extra buffer or no extra buffer.
