Hello geniuses, I was hoping for some help. I'm able to ADD to my Vienna Ensemble Pro server, I'm able to create an instance, but I am unable to get them to connect because the server interface does not recognize any available instances. I've used VEP successfully before. Could someone please enlighten me on the cause of this, and how to fix it? Please let me reiterate - I'm able to create a new instance and add and "active instance" on the server window - there are three windows and the server interface is the one I'm having trouble with. Any help would be much appreciated. If it's of any consequence I'm using Digital Performer 7 on a Mac Pro 8 and I downloaded the latest version of VEP 4 UPDATE the problem was either 'Advertise on Local Network" box was not checked, and or my eLicense needed updating. Now I'm trying to fix VEP 5 "license error" - momma said there'd be days like this, there'd be days like this mama said. la la la la
