  • How to use the vipro2 panner and reverb

    Hi to the forum,

In the panner in the mixer in vi pro, there is the circular symbol with the white triangle at the bottom part and the blue colour in the back.

Am I correct in saying that the white triangular sector part represents the "shape" of the orchestral seating, and the very tip of the top of the white sector that is right in the middle of the circle, represents the conductor?

Also, if I use vi pro 2 in Vienna Ensemble, does the panner in the vi ensemble interface, or also, if you use the panner in vienna suite in the vensemble interface, if used, take precedence over the panner in vipro 2?

I also really like the reverb that comes with vi pro 2 a lot.  When you click on the reverb tab in the advanced settings, you find the controls of the reverb for decay, time, damp and wet. Is it possible manipulate the settings of that reverb by going into the reverb to get a 3 stage depth for strings, woodwind, and brass/percussion by using the settings in this tab?

If it is possible, that would be great. But, unfortunately, I really don't have the expertise to make settings. Is it possible for someone who has the knowledge in this area to share that information?

Thanks for any help someone can give me with these questions.

    best,

    Steve [:)]
