ENS PRO 5, ADVNCD BRASS -STRING ARTICS
RUNNING WINDOWS 7, i7, CUB 6, ENS PRO 5I have a 3 libraries built on a player I won't name here that, when loaded, recorded and with varied combinations of Vienna, Kontakt, Trillian, etc and then saved as a Cubase Project in Cub 5 or Cub 6 which has now in 4 differing Cubase projects upon reopening said projects crashes Cubase to the desktop while still inthe VST Scroll. I know its the player as removing the player from Cubase allows the projects to open.I have just purchased Ensemble Pro 5.If I convert a Giga library in Kontakt, Kontakt then removes the Giga player from the equation and plays it as a Kontakt nki. However this player is one of the few not convertible in Kontakt. Before I go to the time to set it up, I'm asking that if I load these libraries into Ensemble Pro 5 will Ens Pro also delete the original library player from the equation and run its samples reliably as an Ensemble Pro library and samples.P.S.I need extended Solo artics for Vienna. I need as apply all Brass Mutes, Cuivres, Rips, Stops, Vln Solo Giteles, Harmonics etc. None of these are in the Extended Orch library. Would you guide me to which of these "FX" techniques I need to purchase to fill out my artics? Thanks in advance, for all of the forum help over the years and The Best of all New Years to you guys!g.c

VE Pro 5 is not a library player, it justs hosts other VST players that are. You will still have to use your offending library player within VE Pro. If VE Pro finds VST plugins it doesn't like, then they will not show up, and so will not be useable. It will also depend if your offending VST player is 32-bit or 64-bit, as 32-bit plugins will not appear in VE Pro 64-bit (you will need to run a 32-bit version of VE Pro in that case).
So, I think you will need to name the offending library player, to see if anyone here has any experience with it.

Hi andyjh.
I didn't want to bad mouth anyone. The player is the UVI, and I've had these crash issues using mostly a 64 library named IRCAM. I've also experienced this with a project using Ethno Instrument, particularly when I record Ivory into the equation.
The other deal with this is that often I've recorded both of these libraries successfully. I don't know what combination creates the "crashes", which means every project using them is a finger crossing. I do know that when they happen if I remove the UVI Player from Cubase the blocked projects then reopen normally. And unfortunately the Ircam content (a library of 20th century fx atriculations) is not available to my knowledge anywhere else, not even with XChamber, so I keep searching to find a workaround so as to use it.
