    I accidentally set the vst folder to the whole c drive on my windows slave and VEP 5 is testing and testing... Is there a way to force it to stop so I can reset to the proper vst folder? Many thanks.

    Just open Task Manager and forcibly end the VE Pro process there. Then you can remove the VE Pro 5 preferences file from "C:\Users\<YOUR_USER_NAME>\AppData\Roaming\VSL\Vienna Ensemble Pro.ini".
