  • Change the way Sustain Pedal Works

If you press a keyboard note, hold the sustain pedal down, then let go of the note(s), it works as intended - it keeps sustaining the note(s) until you release the pedal.  Great!

Would it be possible to set up the sustain pedal to switch rows when it is held down, but not sustain the notes I play while it is held down?  I know I can assign CC#64 to switch y-axis, just can't figure out how to disable the 'sustain' effect (lol, the intended use of the pedal).

I thought at first this was a limitation of the keyboard or MIDI spec itself and how it sends MIDI data, but I recently installed a new Kontakt library that actually switches articulations without sustaining the notes while the pedal is down.  So, I thought maybe I can re-visit this in VI Pro and try again.
