    I was wondering if a VE Pro 5 installation overwrites VE Pro 4 or can I keep them both up and running unti the dust settles? (That is if there is any dust!!)

    VEP5 overwrites VEP4. It also uses the same plugin id's, so it can open projects saved with VEP4.
