  • Automation parameter lists

I know automation is new, but please consider an alternative design to present automation parameter lists: For example: Rapture I click on automation destination -> rapture, then it takes several seconds until a menu appears, which spans all three monitors à 1920x1200 with auto parameters!!!! Please consider replacing submenus with scrollable list windows!!! Applies to plugins, too...

  • There is a Learn function which is probably a lot more convenient to use with plugins that have this many parameters to automate.

  • I think TabSel is talking about VST Automation Parameters, not MIDI remote control.

  • It's the same thing. Both can be learned from the Automation Mapping window.

  • So when using Kontakt in the VE Pro vst3 format can you setup program changes using the new parameter automation without having to use the regular vst2 version?  That would be awesome.

  • Currently only automatable parameters can be chosen as destination (which encompass 3rd party plugins and most controls in VE Pro and MIR Pro). You could use the Event Input VST2 plugin to send program changes.

  • regarding lists in VE PRO: currently "lists" in VE PRO are designed to be submenus, like the plugin "lists" on "add fx" or "add VSTi channel", or the automation parameters mentioned here... This is cumbersome, as submenus might get quite large and cover an arbitrary amount of screen real estate and are fiddly to navigate trough... Please consider to redesign list displays to be proper resizable list dialog windows with a scrollbar, and/or tree list dialog windows where appropriate...
