Hope someone can answer this who uses machines hooked together in a professional situation... I tend to work with low latency as possible - typically 128k buffer in Cubase, 256k in Logic. I'm wondering if you hook up a second machine, like a mac mini and load some of your library onto there to spread the load out, when using gigabit ethernet, does it introduce latency? If so how much?
