I am not a computer guru, so maybe this question will be primary.
Currently I have only 16gb ram, that means there are only 4 slots on my motherboard. It's impossible to expand it, because my machine box is not high. I ever heard about virtual ram, pagefiles, which will reduce working speed. But what's the usage of these large empty files? Does 16GB physical RAM plus 8GB virtual ram equal 24GB ram?
