VE Pro Crashes when loading Kontakt 4 with Multi

VE Pro Crashes when loading Kontakt 4 with Multi. All software latest versions. I can load individual instruments but a multi with 10 instruments in this case crashes. thanks for any insights. Update: I got this error message while loading a pre-existing VEP. "Panic - Could not allocate enough memory" from Kontakt

are you booting in x64 kernel (and using VE Pro as 64-bit), or running as 32-bit?

chances are you are trying to load more memory than is possible then.
