    I'm finally up and running, on the master computer anyway, but I cannot get the master to see the slave at all. I have started the servers on both computers before the sequencer and followed the instructions, but the server on the master only sees the local host and not the slave. I have changed ethernet cables to rule that out too but no joy.

    Any ideas what could be wrong ?

    Both Macs are running OSX 10.6.8 and I am using `logic 9.1

    Assuming that you already have a working Network, have you:

    1. Switched the firewall off on both computers?
    2. Disabled any other network, including Wi-Fi?
    3. Set both computers to use fixed IP (should work without, but you need this to use VEP properly anyway)?

    Thanks for that.

    Firewalls are off, Wifi is not on, I'm not sure how to fix IPs as yet......Do I need to disable internet on both computers ?

    Am I missing a user manual that explains of this in detail ?

    The reason to disable the Internet is to make sure hat you only have one network active and that it is reserved for VE pro. There are ways of configuring it so that you can have both, but when troubleshooting it's as well to start from the beginning.
