Hi,
Dunno if this is appropriate, but if you guys ever want to branch out a bit...
Most of the world's instruments have been sampled pretty well, but one whole -family- of instruments that has been tragically ignored IMHO is pretty much the entire Brazilian world. Other than a few pretty lame sets of 'loops' the entire world of samba is unrepresented.
There are tons of 'ethnic' libs for African, Arabic, Indian and so on, but nothing even close in detail for Brazil. I -know- Brazilian music is big in Austria... like lots of places.
South American percussion is used in all manner of concert music and jazz but you it seems pretty absent from most libs.
So my suggestion is get the caixas and berimbau and pandeiro and ganza and reco reco over to the Konzerthaus and set up some mics. You'd sell a ton, trust me.
Best Regards,
