    Hi, i am running your VSL special edition plus library on an iMac 10.6.8. It was all working fine, but suddenly i got an eLicenser Error when i try to load a VSL plugin. It says "Either eLicenser Control Center is not installed, or an appropriate software dongle is not inserted". The dongle is inserted and the light is on it. Plus i have the most recent version of the eLicenser Control Center! The error also causes my cu to crash/freeze - requires forced shut down. I have googled the problem and see other people have had the same issue, but i have yet to see a solution. Help please! dave

    I was getting the same error message when installing the libraries, granted it was on a PC. Paul from VSL sent me the e-mail below. Previously, somehow I had ended up at the Steinberg website and ended up downloading the eLicenser from there. Once I went directly to the eLicenser site below and reinstalled, I stopped getting the error message.

    Hope this helps. I'm not much of an IT type - I only have VSL because I can't afford to hire a live orchestra! ;-)

    and ALL the latest VSL software:

    http://vsl.co.at/en/68/428/1093.vsl

    We have updated the copy protection, so all parts (protection software and the protected software) need to be updated! After this, please restart your computer, and everything should work just fine!

    Hello VillageSound,

    I'm sorry to hear of your problem.

    Can you see your key and your licenses in the most recent version of eLicenser Control Center when the key is connected? Please try using different USB ports (avoid USB hubs), if possible on several computers. If you see the licenses and the key, please also make sure that you've updated ALL your Vienna Symphonic Library software that you've installed.
