Hello mkapou, 

I guess you are referring to the parallel cell, right?

This feature is not available in VI PRO, but you can now stack up to 8 articulations in one cell anyway [;)]

Yes and that is great, but if I wanted to use a multi-cell matrix like a performance legato matrix stacked with a single articulation, say a short portato to define the attack of the notes a little more, is there any way to do it in VI Pro?

Hi, 

I´d start to copy the short portato to each cell of a matrix and then fill it with other articulations. OR you can also open another VI PRO with just the portato in it and mix it with the "normal" VI PRO. 

And of course you can also use the original VI in these cases.
