My setup is like this:
MacPro with DP with 1 VEP instance -> PC Slave with multiple audio outputs, MIDI accomplished with MIDIoverLAN. Working great.
I'd like to do this locally as well...using either DP's own Interapplication MIDI, the IAC bus, or the MIDIoverLAN localpipe. With any of these three methods I'm finding that VEP is recognizing the inputs once the prefs are set, but when I try and test the setup there's no actual MIDI communication. Any ideas? Seems like this should work in some way...
