    I just bought a new Download-Instrument, and for the first time I have to use the Download Manager (my recent purchases were just .cab Files)

    Great shyce, the download manager doesn’t do anything! It says „Downloading“ in the stadus-field, but Rate stays at 0.0 forever, Servers at 0.

    I wanted to work wit this library immediately on a project I need to finish till weekend, now it’s not even sure if time is sufficent.

    I read about the same Probem in another Thread for the Windows Version, but I’m on a PM G5 Quad, OSX.5

    Has this Problem been solved???

    Hello MassMover,

    the download speed always depends on a few factors. I assume and hope that the download speed has increased by now.

    Hi Paul,

    I am not at home to test it at the moment, and will be back at around 7pm, I assume no one at VSL support team is still available then. So my apologies in advance if things should have been sorted out meanwhile.

    I don't think this is a matter of download-speed, I rather assume the software is simply not connecting. I mean, I was able to download the Download Manager itself, and also some manual files directly from this site in a split second. I guess, those files and the actual samplefiles are not on a different server, are they? So it is very unkikely that some kind of server-downtime or too much traffic causedthe problem.

    So please give me some advice if there have to be any ports to be opened or something like that. Or if there is an alternative (old-fashioned) possibility to download the .cab files without the Download Manager.

    Hi Paul,

    thanks for the effort to help me out so quickly. Alas, not everything is fine yet. I have all the .cab files, but not the package.info So I'm still unable to install the instument.

    I already asked support to mail this little file (ca 4KB) directly to my eMail, but got no answer so far.
