    I had to replace the hard drive where my Vienna samples library were stored. I moved the library on another hard drive, change the hard drive, and move again on the new one. I used the directory manager to establish the connection. But now, all the Special Edition strings patches make no sound (01 Solo Strings, 02 Chamber Strings, 03 Orchestral Strings, 04 Appassionata Strings, 05 Harp). I can see the patches and a midi signal in VI. All the other SE patches and libraries I have (Appassionata Strings I&II and Woodwinds 1) work fine. I don’t understand why there is no sound for the SE strings only, even if I use Vienna as a standalone. I work with Logic 9. Can you help me to find a solution?

    Hello jacbrass,

    I have answered your mail to already.

    In short:

    - update the eLCC and VSL software

    - remove all folders from the Directory Manager

    - add them again by drag and drop

    - if that doesn´t help, something could have gone wrong when copying the files. Please install the sample content again.

    Hi Paul!

    I followed all your instructions about eLCC, VSL software and Directory Manager with no results. Finally, I reinstalled SE and SE+ and everything works fine now.
