Hi DG,
Thanks for your kind reply. Yes, all instances saved and the metaframe also. I never run decoupled even though it takes a while to load/save as we all know.

When you say "saved" do you mean saved or do you mean Preserved? They have to be named and Preserved. Saving is optional. For what you want to happen you must save your template when you have done the above things.
I would suggest that you build a new, really simple (just a couple of instruments) template for testing purposes to see if this works properly. Then you might be able to figure out what is different with your normal working template.

Hi DG,
Yes, as always, when I create a fresh test instance it loads flawlessly. Then I go through the laborious process of rebuilding my template only to find the same issue of the slave not loading. But I thank you kindly for your help and advice.
I am sure it is a networking issue but I am not so clever in this area.
is your slave Mac connected directly on the second Ethernet port ?
does your slave has a fix IP address (network pref/configure IPv4 ----> manually ) ?
Hi Cyril,
Yes, the slave set to "Using DHCP with manual address" and an individual IP address. When I test a tiny new template it all loads up fine. But my massive 300 instrument (which was only built freshly 3 weeks ago) does not automatically launch VPro when Logic opens the session.
Thank you for any advice about this issue.
Cheers
Try 'manually'
Not using DHCP [;)]
You did not answer to my other question !
Best
Cyril
Hi
What you do :
Set it DHCP, you will get an IP that is not 192....
note all the figures
set it to manually
put all the figures noted
shut down and restart everything
start ve pro server on both computer
launch your logic song
attach the ve pro missing of your slave
save your logic song
quit logic
re-lauch it and see if it is attaching all the ve pro that are on your slave
Would this fix my LAN streaming issue? this is driving me bonkers. I can't even get ONE note to play without popping or dropping on ONE instrument on my slave pc. grrrr I've been tinkering with everything under the sun.
