Hi, still wondering if there will be a fix for this problem which is actually a major one for me, and I'm amazed nobody has brought it up in all this time... When you are using Cubase or Logic, (don't know about other hosts but I expect those too) and you freeze tracks, Vienna Instruments instances still draw a residual amount of CPU power - so eventually no matter if you freeze ALL your tracks, you will not be able to add more tracks (EVEN if using the "unload instrument" option in Cubase with Ensemble - you must literally close the instance in ensemble).
This seems just bizarre to me, and I'm sure VSL must be able to find a way to make the software truly "turn off" a frozen, and thus un-used instance so it does not draw any CPU power. I'm not talking about the Ensemble host, which must use a nominal amount to simply be open, but the instruments that are within it, or another host, that are turned *off*.
Seriously!
