VERY IMPORTANT reason for going with Win Pro (at least) is the RAM limitations. (See chart below)
With the new SSD features in VIP 2.0 it shouldn't be nearly as big of a problem, but I would still recommend Win 7 Pro to avoid any future issues and in case you don't own a SSD.
