  • Chamber Strings Bundle

Anyone any experience setting the Chamber Strings Bundle up with Sibelius 6 (on Mac), please?

    Are there docs?

    Is there a Soundset?

    TIA

  • Hi Mark,

There is a sound set for Chamber Strings I+II . I use the Chamber strings from Special edition and SE + as well with a sound set created by VSL , but I'm sure there is one for your bundle. Have you taken a look under the needful things from your User Area , it should be there. Basically, you load the sound set and you start writing  !!

     Best

    Bogdan,

I haven't received the product yet. When I do - and register it - they should appear in the Needful Things page of my User Area, shouldn't they?

Is this the best product for string quartets, quintets and trios etc?

    Thanks 😊

  • Hi again,

    You're welcome,

Still...I'm not sure about Chamber Strings being the best product for string quartets, quintets or trios. Personally I would go with VSL  Solo Strings I and + or both I+II for these kind of arrangements. Please keep in mind that these are Chamber Strings ..so that means chamber ensembles of violins, violas and so on...They are beautiful but they are not solo instruments.

It will be in your best interest to consult the samples content of each library to see exactly what you're looking for,; and also a good advice also you're going to get from Paul if he 's around !!

    Bogdan,

    Thanks! Understood 😊

Am I correct about Sibelius Sound Sets appearing in the the User Area, once registered?

  • Once you register your library, automatically you're going to receive your soundest. If there are sound sets that coincide with your purchased libraries, you're going to find them in your needful  things.
