  • can't add preset folders in VI Pro

I'm using latest versions of VI and VI pro on Mac OS 10.6.7.

I can't get my custom presets folders to appear in the browser of VI Pro.
I tried navigating to the Finder, where the VSL custom data folder is [in default OSX location], creating a new folder, "My VI pro presets".

I open up the Directory Manager to verify the proper VSL custom data folder path. It is correct for both versions of Directory Manager [for VI and VI Pro].

The new folder appears in the browser of the free VI software.

But it does not appear in the browser of VI Pro.

Tried opening/closing director manager a few times, rebooting, etc.
    No help.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you,
    Charles

  • I'm having the same problem. The player is reading the 101 SpecialEditionPLUS, the Upright and the Epic-Orchestra folders, but not the 100 SpecialEdition. Consequently half the library is missing. I've tried the usual: updating the eLicense control center updatind VI Pro, adding removing locations from directory manager, etc. Nothing works. I'm on Windows by the way.

Please try to delete the cache file and restart ViPro:

    C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\VSL\Vienna Instruments Pro\viprocache.bin

  • Worked like a charm thank you! C.
