    Hi Any additional layer need with appassionata strings? Chamber strings? Solo strings? Dan

    Hi Dan,

    Solo strings seems to be very popular as second layer, if handled well in the mix of course. Many VSL users use it, have I understood.

    The chamber strings have a specific sound character that is quite hard to combine with the App Strings.

    This is generally correct, although it will depend on the sort of production one is doing. A gentle touch of chamber strings can give bigger string ensembles a very natural, discreet sharper edge (if handled properly, of course).

    I will buy the Appassionata Strings 1 DVD ....and I already bought the SE Strings Standard & SE Strings Plus Standard, sounds not bad to me. Although I already have Kirk Hunter Strings, LASS, Symphobia, Symphobia 2 & Cinematic Strings Pro Edition, I still bought the SE Strings Extended & Strings Plus Extended download today. BUT HOURS AFTER I BOUGHT IT, STILL CANT DOWNLOAD THE FILES...........KILLING ME!!!

    If you bought the Appassionata Strings 1 DVD (as you state) then the files will arrive in the post on a DVD...
