  • 'Add a new vsti' missing in my menu

When I put an instance of the VE pro (32 or 64 bit) it gives me all the options except 'add a new vsti'

    Why would this be missing?

    Anyone

  • It's probably because VE Pro cannot find any VST plug ins, make sure you have the right folders located under OPTIONS - VST SETTINGS

  • Where can I find that? I looked in every associated app for vienna and can't find 'Options' anywhere??

    Hi Tim,

I assume that you are working on a Windows system, right?

If that is the case, please check out the "Preferences" in your VE PRO Server application, where you can assign your VST plug-in folder, more information in your VE PRO manual.

If you are on OS X: VE PRO will "only" load AU plug-ins (99,9 % of all VST plug-ins are also available as AU plug-ins).

    Best,

  • Hi I am on OSX, I had to get rid of most of my AU plugins because they wouldn't work with Final Cut Pro.

Really disappointing! I was expecting it to work with my VST instruments, that's the reason I bought it,

    Not Happy!

  • Hello Tim,

I just checked, and you have downloaded a demo license dor VE PRO one day before your purchase...

You can still add all AU plug-ins to have them available, it shouldn´t take too long.

    Best,

    Paul

  • Can you point me in the direction of how to do that?

    Cheers!

  • Hello Tim,

I´d simply install the latest version of all installed plug-ins, and have them installed as AU instruments as well.

    Best,

    Paul
