    Whats the verdict? Is it possible to use VEP over a WiFi connection? If so, are there any limitations?

    Is this a serious question? If yes, Wi-Fi is VERY limited, no way you can efficiently do what VEP needs to do.

    I was actually able to connect from a laptop master to a desktop slave over WiFi, believe it or not, but I didnt try sending midi or anything, i just got it to say "connected". I was just curious if anyone has tested WiFi already.

    Even just having a Wi-Fi connection active will degrade your performance, so trying to use it successfully would mean running at a really high buffer and very few instruments.

    You can run VE Pro on any network connection really, but for any non-trivial project a stable gigabit connection is required to get comfortable performance.
