Hi all,
Using VE Pro in server mode, 64 bit, hosting two instances of Omnisphere. Macintosh OS 10.6.7; sequencing software is DP 7.22 (7.23 same result).
When I stop the transport, sound appears to stop in Omnisphere. However, when restarting, Omnisphere picks up in the middle of a phrase (delays, notes -- everything), as though I'd hit the "pause" function instead of "stop" on the transport. Only if I send an "all notes off" command, with one of the Omnisphere tracks in record mode, do the Omni pitches actually stop.
It's really tiresome -- any suggestions?
(note - VE Pro is NOT decoupled).
Thank you!
John

VE Pro hosting Omnisphere hangs when transport stops

ok, now that I've clicked the little broken paper icon in IE9, I can finally post this......
Try toggling the sound engine button off then on in VE PRO every time you stop the transport, and see if that helps. If I remember right, it is in the upper left corner of the VE PRO window
I'm running Omnisphere in my SONAR X1 machine, and this is what I do every time I stop the transport. A pain, I know, but it's habit now and I don't even think about it. If i don't do this, my spectrasonics products are out of sync with the project.
