    I'm working on a project that I've been using VE pro successfully on 2 Mac pro setup (1 master 1 slave). However, I just noticed today that though the project loads and plays back everything fine on my slave, it will not let me create / connect a new instance of VE Pro on my slave machine! CRAZY!!

    As a further test I created a brand new project to see if I could load any VE pro instances on my slave, and VE pro on my master DAW would not recognize the slave at all. 

    Has anyone heard of this happening? Anyone know a fix? I'm running VE Pro build 8008 on both machines, Logic 9.1.4. Could my other weird issue of VE pro loading all my instances twice be playing a role in this as well? (see thread here: http://community.vsl.co.at/forums/t/28789.aspx ) 

    Thank you very much for any help you can provide, as I'm completely stumped! It would be one thing if VE pro wasn't working at all on the slave, but its connecting the previously saved instances and playing them back just fine, however I cannot create any new instances from my master DAW.

     I ran into other system weirdness so I've decided to re-install my system software. In a quick test in Logic, VE pro is now recognized again. I'm still having the "VE Pro loading everything twice" problem, but I've read from other threads this could have to do with being in coupled mode. I'll have to experiment with using VE pro decoupled and see what happens.
