Hello all,
I am trying to setup Ensemble on a client's network.
On one machine, I have Ensemble 3 running as a server - this is a vista machine. Near as I can tell, everything is setup right on it.
On the slave machine, he originally had Ensemble 3 installed, but he updated Windows 7 from vista, which wiped out his Ensemble files. Now, for some reason, Ensemble 4 was installed on this machine. Everytime I open Ensemble, I get an ECC error, because he doesn't have a license for Ensemble 4 on his e-licenser dongle. He never had a code for 4. However, in his user account, I only have downloads for 4. So, I'm dead in the water.
I really can't figure out what to do here; I can't find Ensemble 3 anywhere, he has no install media, as the machine came pre-configured from PCaudio labs.
So, what can I do? The vienna keys are in both machines, on the server, it has a license for Vienna - on the slave, there is nothing with respect to Vienna.
Thoughts would be really appreciated. Thank you.

The licence for Ensemble 3 will work for Ensemble 4. Update your eLicenser Control Center. When you bought Ensemble 3 you should have got 3 licences. One of these should be present on a Vienna Key plugged into any machine running the Ensemble Server if you want it to run properly.
If you still want to download Ensemble 3 you can still find it in User Area > Software > Vienna Ensemble PRO > Archive.

Thanks. I updated the client's elicenser, but I still only see the license for cubase 6 on it; nothing about Vienna. Could be user error, perhaps there is another key somewhere. I will try installing VE3 and seeing if that makes a difference. If not, is there a way to get the license key again to drop it onto the elicenser? Thanks for the help.

even more confusing here is that on his server machine, the elic. dongle has the proper information, but the dongle on the slave machine has nothing. He says that Vienna launched previous to the upgrade of win7, but I see no license information on the second dongle. I can't launch vienna without the elicenser having a license, right? Including on the slave machine?
