  • SP and extended

Can I buy super package standart and then buy only strings complete extended to make my stings collection full?

  • That definitely seems like it's correct to me.  In the super package you would have all the standards, then if you purchased the DVD collection strings complete EXTENDED library that is all the string samples you could possibly own at the moment.

Although if it were me, I wouldn't just purchase the extended strings, I would go for the entire extended from the super package.  Reason being, that it is only a small amount of money more to get ALL the extendeds compared to just the strings.  That way, when you create orchestrations, you will ensure that you have the same articulations for almost every instrument possible.  Trust me, it makes a massive difference in crescendos etc to have your winds etc. having the same articulation as your strings.  This way, you can assign the same patches to the same cells, and then use the same key switches for all the grouped instruments and tracks.  This will make life a lot easier (at least it does for me).  I also think Beat and a bunch of others of us use this technique (or something similar).

    Hope that helps,

  • Hi tony95,

Thanks for your interest in our Vienna Super Package!

I confirm that you can buy the Standard Library of the Super Package and later on add the Extended Library of only the Strings Complete. :-)

Let me know if you've got any further questions!

    Best,

    Stefan
